South Africa: eTenders, funding applications and CIDB
Same desk, same method, priced in rand. I write the responsive, scored parts of a South African bid or funding application, to the requirements published in the tender document or the funder's own application form.
Prices
| Product | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| eTenders bid response | R8,500 | Written response to one advertised tender: functionality and technical criteria answered against the published scoring schedule, method statement, compliance checklist against the returnable schedules. |
| Funding business plan | R7,500 | Business plan written for a SEFA, NYDA, IDC or commercial bank application, in the structure that funder asks for: business description, market, operations, management, use of funds and a financial narrative built on your numbers. |
| CIDB grading application pack | R2,500 | Completed application pack for a CIDB contractor grading designation: forms populated, supporting-document checklist, and the written submission assembled from the records you supply. |
Where a price is a range, the figure is fixed in writing before any work starts. The range reflects the length of the tender and the number of scored questions, not how the job goes afterwards. Prices exclude any third-party fees such as CIDB application fees, which you pay directly.
Payment
50% deposit to start, balance on delivery. The deposit is paid by card through a secure Yoco payment link I send with the invoice. It accepts any Visa, Mastercard or American Express card. There are no bank transfer details to capture and no account numbers change hands.
If I decline the job after taking a deposit, or cannot deliver by the agreed date, the deposit is refunded in full. See the terms.
How it works
- Email me the tender number and the eTenders link, or the funder and the application form.
- I reply with a free scoring map: the evaluation and functionality criteria, the weightings, the returnable schedules you must submit, and an honest note on the hardest scored question.
- You approve the fixed price in writing.
- You send the facts: company documents, CSD registration number, BBBEE certificate or affidavit, tax compliance status, past projects, staff and their qualifications.
- I deliver the written response by the agreed date. You check it, sign it and submit it.
What I need from you
- CSD registration number and company registration documents.
- BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, and tax compliance status.
- CIDB registration and grading, where the tender requires it.
- Past projects: client, scope, value, dates, completion certificates or references if you have them.
- Key staff, their real qualifications and their CVs.
- Your pricing and the bill of quantities, where one applies.
I write from what you send. I do not create certificates, references, experience or numbers that do not exist, and I will not sign anything on your behalf.
What I do not do
- I am not a CIDB, SEFA, NYDA or IDC agent and I have no relationship with any of them. Submitting a well-written application does not make it succeed.
- No success fees and no share of contract value. Fixed price only.
- No calls or meetings. Everything in writing.
- I do not submit on the portal for you. You hold the account.
Send me the tender
